NEW! Discovered c1870, this cooking apple is a popular garden variety. The fruits are large with a red flush. Cooks to a cream, juicy puree with a mild, brisk flavour that is slightly sweeter than Bramley. The tree is heavy cropping and resistant to scab and canker. Suitable for the north and wet regions. Partially self-fertile.
