Vaccinium myrtillus (syn. blaeberry)
Bilberries are wild blueberries producing small blue-black fruits that are delicious to eat and full of antioxidants. Plants grow to a maximum height of 45cm (18in). The pinkish-red flowers, bright green foliage and autumn colour give this plant added ornamental value.
Pollination: Self-fertile.
Plant size: 4 x 5.5cm Ellepot (suitable for direct planting).
Available for delivery: from early February 2012.
