An exceptionally good dessert/culinary plum rated by the Victorian fruit enthusiast Hogg as “a great bearer, and very hardy, rarely ever missing a crop.” The fruits are of similar quality to Marjorie’s Seedling but smaller and earlier ripening. Delicious when fully ripe with sweet, juicy, golden flesh. An excellent choice for areas that suffer from spring frosts.
