Grape Vine 'Black Hamburgh' (Pot Grown)

Vitis vinifera 'Black Hamburgh' (syn. 'Schiava Grossa') 

This very old dessert grape is the same as the Great Vine at Hampton Court Palace which is now the oldest and most famous grape vine in existence. Planted in 1768 it still produces about 600lbs of grapes each year. The large berries are dark red/purple, juicy and sweet. Will ripen in a cold greenhouse but will benefit from heat in cooler areas.
