Prunus persica var. nectarina 'Lord Napier'

The most popular nectarine, grown in the U.K. since 1860.  It is one of the earliest ripening varieties, making it suitable for outdoor cultivation given a warm, sheltered spot. The fruits are large with a dark crimson flush and sweet, juicy, white flesh that melts in your mouth. Heavy cropping.

Pollination: Self-fertile.

Season: early Aug.

Available for delivery: late November - late April.
