Malus domestica 'Bramley's Seedling'
The U.K’s favourite cooking apple. The original tree still exists in a garden near Nottingham where it was grown from a pip in 1809. The large fruits cook to a pale cream puree with strong acidity and flavour. Very attractive bright pink blossom. Stores very well.
Supplied in a ‘Y’ shape with two main shoots that can be trained out in opposite directions at about 45cm (18in) above the ground. On receipt you will need to tie the arms down gradually (in several stages) to a horizontal supporting framework (not supplied).
Pollination: Triploid (will not act as a pollinator). Group B.
Season: Nov - Mar.
Tree Form: Stepover.
Available for delivery: late November - early May.
