Malus domestica 'Discovery'
The most widely grown early dessert apple in the U.K., raised in Essex c1949. Bright scarlet fruits. Crisp and juicy with a distinctive flavour. Stores very well for an early variety. Resistant to scab and mildew. Can be grown throughout the U.K.
Supplied in a ‘Y’ shape with two main shoots that can be trained out in opposite directions at about 45cm (18in) above the ground. On receipt you will need to tie the arms down gradually (in several stages) to a horizontal supporting framework (not supplied).

Season: late Aug - Sept.
Tree Form: Stepover.
Available for delivery: late November - early May.
