Malus domestica 'Falstaff'
A very heavy cropping dessert apple producing red striped fruits. Crisp and juicy with a refreshing fruity flavour. Easy to grow and ideal as a garden variety. Produces a compact tree. Good resistance to late frosts.
Supplied in a ‘Y’ shape with two main shoots that can be trained out in opposite directions at about 45cm (18in) above the ground. On receipt you will need to tie the arms down gradually (in several stages) to a horizontal supporting framework (not supplied).
Pollination: Self-fertile. Group B.
Season: Oct - Dec.
Tree Form: Stepover.
Available for delivery: late November - early May.
