Probably the best known of the older varieties, this much-loved strawberry is often found on pick your own farms. Many gardeners refuse to grow anything else! Ripening midseason, it is one of the heaviest cropping varieties available and can be relied on to crop well under a wide range of weather conditions. The medium sized berries are soft, sweet and juicy and have a very good flavour. Resistant to mildew.

Season: Mid Summer (mid June - mid July).

Available for delivery: October & November (fresh dug plants), March - early July (coldstored plants).
