Fragaria x ananassa 'Pegasus'

This late summer strawberry has good all round disease resistance and is an excellent choice for organic gardeners, preferring slightly heavier soils. The plant has an open habit allowing for good air circulation, thereby reducing the incidence of botrytis. It is also resistant to verticillium wilt, crown rot and mildew. The medium-large fruits are soft, sweet and juicy. Heavy cropping.

Season: late Summer (late June - late July).
