Fragaria x ananassa 'Anablanca'
NEW! Closely related to the Pineberry, this is a very rare white summer fruiting strawberry. The berries start off green and turn paler as they ripen to produce a sweet and juicy fruit with white flesh, studded with attractively coloured red seeds. The flavour is aromatic and reminiscent of pineapple. The plant size is small compared with modern varieties. Please note: this variety is only supplied as coldstored plants for spring/summer delivery.
Season: mid Summer (mid June - mid July).
