Grow your own delicious strawberries. Planted before the end of July, you will reap your first harvest this summer! This collection consists of 18 summer fruiting strawberry plants, 6 each of the following:
Honeoye (Early) - This early strawberry is a very popular garden variety. The bright red fruits are large and round and have a very good old fashioned strawberry flavour. Makes wonderful strawberry jam. Heavy cropping.
Hapil (Mid) - This good old fashioned midseason strawberry has justifiably been a very popular choice amongst gardeners and pick your own farms for a number of years. Produces heavy crops of very large bright red glossy berries with an excellent sweet flavour. It crops especially well on light soils and in drier conditions.
Florence (Late) - This modern late summer fruiting strawberry is very popular with gardeners as it combines very good flavour with outstanding disease resistance, especially against powdery mildew. The plants also show some resistance to vine weevil. Produces heavy crops of large, dark red fruits with very good flavour.
