Pear trees, like apple trees, are easy to grow and suffer with very few problems. We offer a range of delicious varieties that are grafted onto Quince ‘A’ semi-dwarfing rootstock to promote fruit production from an early age. This will produce a tree of medium vigour that is easy to pick and control. Bush pear trees will grow 2.5-3.5m (8-12ft) in height and spread. Choose a sunny, sheltered site. To ensure rapid establishment, pear trees are supplied bare-rooted and will be 1.2-1.5m (4-5ft) high on despatch. Delivery is from late November to early May. We are now taking orders for autumn delivery.
