More Information

Raspberries are an excellent crop to grow as once established they will crop heavily, producing up to 1.5kg (over 3lbs) of fruit per cane for 10 years or more. They can be planted as close as 40cm (16in) apart with a gap of 1.5m (5ft) between rows.  When planting it is important to choose a well-drained, sunny or semi-shaded spot and to incorporate plenty of compost or well-rotted manure.  Our hand graded raspberry canes are raised on selected sites in the U.K., inspected by DEFRA for pests and diseases and certified under the Plant Health Propagation Scheme (PHPS). Raspberry canes are available from late November to early May.

We are now taking orders for delivery in the Autumn. Click here to view our range of cell grown raspberries (available mid/late May to early/mid July).

Don't forget to include a Gripple Wire Tensioning Kit on your order, the easy way to support raspberry canes.  For better establishment we strongly advise using Rootgrow when planting (as recommended in RHS planting guidelines).

Bought 6 of these canes a good while ago very productive and excellent flavour and great for freezing. Will be buying some more as I have been transferred to a new allotment site.As I’m not sure if digging up the old canes will be successful.

I just love these raspberries. I already have 12 canes. They have produced fruit the first year, which are really big and full of flavour. They are so great that I am getting rid of some unproductive red current bushes and purchasing another 6 canes!!!!!!
