Raspberry 'Malling Juno' (6 cell grown plants)

Raspberry 'Malling Juno' (6 cell grown plants) Code: RSP216

£21.50 inc. p&p 21.5000 In Stock New

Rubus idaeus 'Malling Juno'

NEW! The latest variety from the breeding programme at East Malling Research is very early ripening and heavy cropping. It produces medium to large attractive berries with a firm texture and delicious sweet flavour. The canes are spine-free making picking easy. Resistant to cane diseases.

The use of quality cell grown raspberry plants to establish commercial fruiting plantations is now a widely accepted technique and is becoming increasingly popular with home gardeners. Raised in 4cm cells, these plants will give reliable establishment in the first season. Due to the way the plants grow in the cell, there is virtually no transplant shock and therefore a much better chance of survival compared with bare root canes. Furthermore, they are planted out during the late spring and early summer when weather conditions are more favourable.

Bred in the U.K.  RHS Perfect for Pollinators

Season: early Summer (late June - late July).

Available for delivery: late May - mid August.
