Raspberry 'Paris' (6 cell grown plants)

Raspberry 'Paris' (6 cell grown plants) Code: RSP210

£24.95 inc. p&p 24.9500 In Stock New

Rubus idaeus 'Paris'

This fabulous new autumn fruiting primocane raspberry produces very large, sweet, juicy berries with an excellent, aromatic flavour. The berry size is one of the biggest we have ever seen - each one weighing on average 5-6.5g. The canes are self-supportive, vigorous and very robust. Disease resistant and very heavy cropping.

The use of quality cell grown raspberry plants to establish commercial fruiting plantations is now a widely accepted technique and is becoming increasingly popular with home gardeners. Raised in 4cm cells, these plants will give reliable establishment in the first season. Due to the way the plants grow in the cell, there is virtually no transplant shock and therefore a much better chance of survival compared with bare root canes. Furthermore, they are planted out during the late spring and early summer when weather conditions are more favourable.

RHS Perfect for Pollinators

Season: Autumn (late July - early Oct).

Available for delivery: mid June - mid August.

Japanese Wineberry Bush
£18.50Japanese Wineberry BushUse this plant to bring some winter cheer to the garden! Originating from Eastern Asia, the Japanese Wineberry is grown as much for its ornamental value as it is for its edible fruits. The plant is very decorative - it has dark red stems that are covered in soft red bristles. The calyx (which surrounds the flowers) are also covered in fine red bristles and contrast beautifully against the lime-green foliage which turns almost yellow-white at the time of fruiting. The dark red canes really stand out in the winter and look particularly attractive on a frosty morning. The berries are dark red when fully ripe, juicy and sweet and have a strong raspberry flavour. They are delicious picked straight from the bush but can also be cooked and used to make jam. Plant 1.8m (6ft) apart.Buy Now
