Fragaria x ananassa 'Honeoye'

This early strawberry is a very popular garden variety. The bright red fruits are large and round and have a very good old fashioned strawberry flavour. Makes wonderful strawberry jam. Heavy cropping.

Misted Tips are a new method of strawberry plant production used by commercial growers to maximize the maiden crop (the year after planting).  Now available to home gardeners, Misted Tip strawberry plants are produced by harvesting the best un-rooted runner tips from certified mother plants and rooting them into 4cm Ellepots under controlled conditions using a special mist propagation unit. Under these growing conditions very strong healthy plants are produced which will establish themselves very quickly once planted, improving the maiden crop by up to 100% compared to planting bare root strawberry runners in the autumn.

The perforated watering tube slides neatly into the end of the growbag, fitting snugly above the compost. Just fill the easy to reach reservoir for thorough, even distribution of water and feed throughout the bag. Speed Feed fits a standard 1m growbag.Buy Now
