Grow your own delicious strawberries. Planted before the end of July, you will reap your first harvest this summer! This collection consists of 24 summer fruiting strawberry plants, 12 each of the following:

Strawberry 'Sweetheart' (mid)

Bred at East Malling Research, we think this is one of the best garden varieties to have been released in recent years. Heavier cropping than most other main season varieties, the berries are large, sweet and juicy with a good old fashioned strawberry flavour. Resistant to Powdery Mildew.

Bred in the U.K.  RHS Perfect for Pollinators

Strawberry 'Cupid' (late)

Bred at East Malling Research, this outstanding new late summer variety is exceptionally disease resistant and performs well on a wide range of soils. It produces heavy crops of attractive orange-red berries with a lovely sweet, aromatic flavour. The fruit size is good and the berries have good rain tolerance. Resistant to Verticillium Wilt, Crown Rot and Powdery Mildew.

Bred in the U.K.  RHS Perfect for Pollinators

Available for delivery: October & November (fresh dug plants), March - late June (coldstored plants).

If you have ever grown your own strawberries before you will know that the aroma and flavour is far superior to that of shop bought fruit. What’s more, they take up a minimum amount of room and are easy to grow. All they require is a sunny, sheltered spot. Plants can be spaced 30cm (12in) apart in the open ground. Alternatively they can be grown in growbags (10 plants per growbag), or in hanging baskets or containers.

Our hand graded strawberry plants are raised on selected sites in the UK under the Plant Health Propagation Scheme (PHPS) and are guaranteed to be free from pests and diseases.

Fresh dug strawberry runners are available in October and November and will crop the following season. Coldstored strawberry plants are available from March to late June. These will crop 60-90 days after planting.
