Brassicas are amongst the easiest vegetables to grow and can be harvested at different times through the seasons. Brassicas will do best in a sunny spot in a deep, firm, moisture retentive soil and should be spaced at least 30cm (12in) apart. Cabbages will grow happily in containers (30cm [12in] in diameter). Cauliflowers are best planted in raised beds or a well dug vegetable patch. This collection contains the following young organic plants:

Borecole (Curly Kale) - Green Curled Dwarf  x 10
Romanesco Cauliflower x 10
Cavolo Nero (Black Kale) - Nero di Toscana x 10
Kohl Rabi - Delicacy Purple x 10
Red Cabbage - Red Drumhead x 10

Japanese Wineberry Bush
£20.95Japanese Wineberry BushUse this plant to bring some winter cheer to the garden! The plant is very decorative - it has dark red stems that are covered in soft red bristles. The calyx (which surrounds the flowers) are also covered in fine red bristles and contrast beautifully against the lime-green foliage which turns almost yellow-white at the time of fruiting. The dark red canes really stand out in the winter and look particularly attractive on a frosty morning. The berries are dark red when fully ripe, juicy and sweet and have a strong raspberry flavour. They are delicious picked straight from the bush but can also be cooked and used to make jam. Plant 1.8m (6ft) apart.Buy Now
