Prunus persica 'Rochester'
An excellent choice for the UK climate, this is one of the most reliable peaches for growing outdoors. It flowers late and is therefore less susceptible to frost damage than many any other varieties. The fruits are large with soft yellow juicy flesh and very good flavour.
This new variety is extremely heavy cropping and ripens very late in the season. The berries are large and firm and if left to ripen on the bush fully have a rich flavour and lovely aroma. Beautiful red autumn foliage.
Plant size: 2 litre pot.
Available for delivery: all year.
Rheum hybridum 'Livingstone'
The world’s first autumn-cropping rhubarb! This British bred variety will crop twice a year - in spring and again in the autumn as unlike other varieties it does not require a period of summer dormancy. The succulent red stalks have an excellent flavour and can be harvested May/June and again September-November. Heavy cropping and disease resistant.
Plant size: 9cm pot.
Malus 'Pink Glow' (syn. 'Dolgo')
A more disease resistant alternative to John Downie, this is one of the best early season fruiting crab apples for making jelly and an excellent ornamental. The strong single white flowers are followed by large bright pink fruits that look like plums.
rootgrow™ can offer huge benefits to almost all garden plants. It is the only product that will support your plants for their entire lifetime, making it probably the best value purchase you will make. Comprising of (UK origin) Mycorrhizal fungi, rootgrow™ is 100% natural and is the only planting aid to carry the RHS seal of approval.
For better establishment, naturally healthier plants, better drought resistance and stronger flowering and fruiting, rootgrow™ is all you need. Mycorrhizal fungi will colonise the plant and develop into a huge secondary root system that will increase the root area of your plants by up to 700 times in just a few weeks. This will help the plant find essential nutrients, minerals and moisture, enabling the plant to establish quicker and reducing the risk of failure.
One simple application at planting time is all that is required. Once you have used this amazing product you will wonder how you ever managed to grow your plants without it!
Almost all new plants will benefit from rootgrow™ but there are a few exceptions: blueberries, cranberries, lingonberries, rhododendrons, azaleas, heathers & brassicas. It should be noted that using rootgrow™ on these plants will not harm them - it just won’t work.
One 150g sachet will treat up to 25 bare root plants or 7 x 3 litre pots.
Pack size: 150g.
