Honeyberry Bushes (Haksap)

Honeyberry bushes, a type of edible honeysuckle, are a relatively new introduction to the UK, offering versatile culinary options. High in antioxidants, they taste similar to blueberries with a slight honey after-taste. They can be eaten fresh or used in various dishes. Try them in jams, pies, muffins and even wine.

Are you captivated by the prospect of growing honeyberries but unsure about their suitability for UK gardens? Honeyberry bushes grow well in our British climate conditions and are an excellent choice for gardeners across the country. They cater to both adventurous gardeners and those seeking to diversify their fruit gardens with something unique.

Honeyberry plants are surprisingly low-maintenance and easy to grow. They’re tolerant of a wide range of soil types, resistant to most pests and diseases, and can withstand temperatures as low as -20°C, making them ideal for even the most challenging garden locations.

At Pomona Fruits, we’re passionate about helping you succeed in your fruit-growing endeavours. That’s why each honeyberry bush comes with comprehensive care instructions. From guidance on planting and pruning to advice on harvesting and storage, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
