Fruit & Nut Trees

Our range of top fruit trees have been specially selected to ensure great results in British gardens.  With a heavy emphasis on flavour and reliability we offer a large choice of fantastic varieties grown on virus free certified rootstocks. Most fruit trees are approximately 1.2-1.5m (4-5ft) in height on despatch, mostly with side branches developing.  However please note that the sizes and shapes of individual varieties do vary considerably, and cordons in particular may be shorter than the overall guidance given above due to their more compact habit.

Pollination

Many of our fruit trees are self-fertile and will pollinate themselves satisfactorily. However, some varieties of apple, pear, plum and cherry are not self-fertile and will require a pollinator from the same species.  To ensure adequate pollination choose two varieties from the same species that are in the same flowering group or one group apart.

Don't forget to include tree stakes and ties on your order.  All young fruit trees require staking and for better establishment we strongly advise using Rootgrow when planting (as recommended in RHS planting guidelines).
