Description

Ant nests can be a real problem to control in border soils and lawns causing raised areas of soil and disruption to plant roots. Both black and red ants can be controlled with parasitic nematodes (Steinernema feltiae). Apply April to September to a well-watered lawn or border. Soil temperature must be at least 10°C.

Available for delivery: April - September.

Use natures own assassins to protect your plants from garden pests without the need to use chemicals. The predators we supply occur naturally in the UK and are totally safe to pets, children and the environment.

Natural predators will be despatched at the appropriate time for application. When "in season" they are despatched direct from our supplier in batches on a weekly basis -  we send orders to our supplier 12pm Tuesday and they despatch these orders Wednesday the following week by first class post.

Nematodes can be stored in a refrigerator for a limited period but lacewing larvae, ladybird larvae and Phytoseiulus (red spider mite killer) must be applied immediately on receipt.
