Description

Insect Barrier Glue is the easy way to stop crawling pests. A modern alternative to greasebanding fruit trees, it is easy to apply, stays sticky longer and is more economical to use. It can also be applied to plant pots or entire bench areas. It will protect against Winter Moth (the larvae causes damage to the leaves and fruits of apple, pear, plum & cherry) as well as deterring adult vine weevils, earwigs and ants. The 300ml tube fits a standard mastic gun (not supplied) and will create approximately 20m (65ft) of band.

The female lays eggs under the surface of the skin, which hatch into small white larvae. In the garden, the use of several of these monitoring traps filled with liquid attractant and placed around the perimeter of the fruit plot can help attract the adults away from developing fruits, reducing the likelihood of infestation. The traps can be used from March onwards. Supplied with 2 x 250ml bottles of attractant which is sufficient to fill each trap three times.Buy Now

£24.95 inc. p&pSpeed Feed Growbag Irrigator (pack of 2)Growbags are great, but they can be a real nuisance to feed and water - you can never be sure that all the compost has been properly wetted. Large watering holes cut into the bag lead to loss of humidity and temperature - and messy compost splashes out when you water. Speed Feed solves all of these problems. The perforated watering tube slides neatly into the end of the growbag, fitting snugly above the compost. Just fill the easy to reach reservoir for thorough, even distribution of water and feed throughout the bag. Speed Feed fits a standard 1m growbag.Buy Now
