Soft Fruit Bushes & Vines

If you are fed up with buying flavourless, overpriced summer fruits, then we suggest you grow your own! You cannot beat home grown fruit for taste and modern varieties offer improved growing success and abundant crops. Whether you want to try something different like loganberries and tayberries or just enjoy Wimbledon's favourite strawberries we really do have the ideal fruit plants for every gardener.

Many soft fruit bushes are compact in their growth habit making them ideal for growing in containers or planting in small gardens. Vigorous climbing plants such as kiwi fruit and grape vines can be planted where space is not an issue and are very useful for covering unsightly walls and fences.

Japanese Wineberry Bush
£20.95Japanese Wineberry BushUse this plant to bring some winter cheer to the garden! The calyx (which surrounds the flowers) are also covered in fine red bristles and contrast beautifully against the lime-green foliage which turns almost yellow-white at the time of fruiting. The dark red canes really stand out in the winter and look particularly attractive on a frosty morning. The berries are dark red when fully ripe, juicy and sweet and have a strong raspberry flavour. They are delicious picked straight from the bush but can also be cooked and used to make jam. Plant 1.8m (6ft) apart.Buy Now

The bush is thornless, heavy yielding and very resistant to mildew, blackcurrant leaf spot and ‘big bud’ mite. Rich in vitamin C, the fruits freeze well and are excellent for pies and jam making.Buy Now
