Fruit & Nut Trees

Pomona Fruits is your trusted source for fruit trees in the UK. We understand that cultivating your own orchard, whether grand or modest, is a labour of love that brings immense joy and satisfaction. We offer a range of UK grown fruit trees for sale that are designed to cater to every gardener’s needs, from the novice enthusiast to the seasoned horticulturist.

Our range of top fruit trees (apples, pears, cherries, plums, gages and damsons) have been grown in the UK and are specially selected to ensure great results in British gardens. With a heavy emphasis on flavour and reliability we offer a large choice of fantastic varieties grown on virus free certified rootstocks. Most fruit trees are approximately 1.2-1.5m (4-5ft) in height on despatch (including the roots), mostly with side branches developing. However please note that the sizes and shapes of individual varieties do vary considerably, and cordons in particular may be shorter than the overall guidance given above due to their more compact habit.

At Pomona Fruits, we take pride in offering a diverse range of fruit trees, specially selected to thrive in British gardens. Our collection includes beloved classics such as applepear, and plum trees, as well as more exotic options like quincefigs and citrus. We understand the challenges of choosing the right fruit tree for your space and climate, which is why our experts are always on hand to offer guidance and support.

For those with limited space, our cordon fruit trees and stepover apple and pear trees offer elegant solutions without compromising on yield. These space-saving trees are perfect for small gardens or even balconies, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the pleasure of growing their own fruit.

We also offer family fruit trees, which are perfect for those who want to grow multiple varieties on a single tree – ideal for maximising variety in smaller spaces.

Our nut trees, including cobnutsfilberts and walnuts, cater to those looking to create a more diverse orchard. They not only provide a bountiful harvest but also add architectural interest to your garden year-round.

Our fruit trees are carefully nurtured and come with detailed care instructions to ensure your success.

At Pomona Fruits, we understand that choosing the right fruit tree can be daunting. That’s why we offer comprehensive information on pollination requirements, growth habits, and expected yields for each variety. Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge to make informed decisions and achieve the orchard of your dreams.

Pollination

Many of our fruit trees are self-fertile and will pollinate themselves satisfactorily. However, some varieties of apple, pear, cherry, plum and gage are not self-fertile and will require a pollinator from the same species. To ensure adequate pollination choose two varieties from the same species that are in the same flowering group or one group apart.

Whether you’re looking to plant a single apple tree or create a mini orchard, Pomona Fruits is here to support you every step of the way. Our passion for fruit trees is matched only by our commitment to customer satisfaction. Let us help you bring the joy of homegrown fruit to your table and the beauty of blossoming trees to your garden.

Explore our extensive range of fruit trees for sale today and embark on a fruitful journey with Pomona Fruits – where quality, variety and expert guidance come together to ensure your gardening success.
