The perfect way to grow strawberries, ensuring heavier yields and better quality fruit! Manufactured from strong 15mm black polymer coated galvanized steel tubing with moulded fittings, the frame comes complete with a bird net and hoops to support the net above the fruit. The tabletop will accommodate 20 plants (10 per 1m growbag), to produce three successive crops over a three year period before the plants and growbags need to be replaced. Planted before the end of July, you will reap your first harvest this summer!

This offer comes complete with 20 strawberry plants, 10 each of the following varieties supplied as SuperCrowns:

Strawberry 'Vibrant' (early)

A fantastic new early variety to start the season! Bred and selected by East Malling Research, Vibrant has rapidly become established amongst commercial growers as the premier early variety and is an excellent choice for the garden. Vibrant produces medium to large bright red berries that are very sweet and flavoursome to taste. The plants are heavy cropping and resistant to powdery mildew and crown rot. Double cropping in the main crop year can occur if July temperatures are relatively low with surprisingly good fruit being produced in September.

Bred in the U.K.  RHS Perfect for Pollinators

Strawberry 'Elegance' (mid)

This new summer fruiting strawberry produces very heavy crops of large, glossy fruits with a wonderful sweet strawberry taste and a juicy, pleasant texture. In trials it proved to be the heaviest cropping variety.

Bred in the U.K.  RHS Perfect for Pollinators

What are SuperCrowns?

Commercial growers maximise the yield of the 60 day crop, by planting with hand graded plants, carefully selected to ensure a crown size of 14mm or more in diameter. With our 14-18mm SuperCrowns you too can maximise your 60 day crop.

£42.95Sorbus hupehensis 'Pink Pagoda' (Mountain Ash Tree)Originating from Canada, this outstanding variety is a close relative of our British native rowan. It produces large open bunches of beautiful vivid pink berries in the autumn that slowly turn pale pink and last well in to winter. The berries not only look lovely, they provide winter food for hungry birds. Clusters of creamy white flowers adorn the branches in the spring and are popular with bees. The large blue-green pinnate leaves are very attractive and turn to shades of red and orange in the autumn. Suitable for most soil types, but prefers a moist, free draining site.Buy Now
