Fragaria x ananassa 'Fenella'

This new late summer strawberry is possibly the perfect variety! It offers an exciting combination of heavy yields, quality fruit and very good disease resistance. The large glossy berries have an excellent, distinctive sweet flavour and are mildly aromatic. In trials it has shown very good resistance to verticillium wilt and crown rot and the fruit can tolerate very heavy rain.

Our summer potted strawberry plants are perfect for gardeners that have missed the planting season for coldstored plants and are looking for reliable establishment in the first season. Raised in 5cm cells, they establish themselves very quickly once planted, improving the maiden crop by up to 100% compared to planting bare root strawberry runners in the autumn.
