Rhubarb is delicious in desserts and as it is so easy to grow and takes up very little room it deserves a place in every garden. The plants will tolerate full sun or partial shade, but it is important to make sure they are planted in a well-drained soil. It is equally suited to container growing.

Large hand selected rhubarb crowns are available when they are dormant (from mid October until March) and 3 litre potted plants are usually available for planting all year.

For better establishment we strongly advise using Rootgrow when planting (as recommended in RHS planting guidelines).
