This collection consists of 2 varieties, 1 each of the following:

Tayberry 'Buckingham Tayberry'

This is a natural thornless mutation of the Tayberry, identical in all other respects. The juicy, dark red fruits are sweeter and more aromatic than a Loganberry. Delicious eaten fresh or used for jams and summer puddings. Produces heavy crops over a long period. Plant 2.4m (8ft) apart. Season: early July - mid Aug.

Bred in the U.K.  RHS Perfect for Pollinators

Loganberry 'LY654'

This is a natural thornless mutation of the Loganberry, the most popular raspberry x blackberry hybrid berry. The large, succulent fruits are juicy, rich and tangy and are best eaten when dark red in colour. Plant 2.4m (8ft) apart. Season: mid July - early Aug.

RHS Award of Garden Merit  RHS Perfect for Pollinators

Blackberries and hybrid berries (arising from crosses between raspberries and blackberries) will thrive under a wide range of site and soil conditions and need not take up much room in your garden. They will tolerate sun or shade and are useful for covering a north facing wall, trellis or fence. With a selection of different varieties it is possible to harvest fruit from early July until the autumn. Although bursting with flavour when eaten fresh, surplus fruit freezes well and can be used to make excellent jam and crumbles! Trained plants can grow and be maintained to a height of 1.5-1.8m (5-6ft) and should be planted 1.8-2.4m (6-8ft) apart.

Please note - where we quote a height on despatch, this is measured from the base of the pot.

Don't forget to include a Gripple Wire Tensioning Kit on your order, the easy way to support blackberry bushes.  For better establishment we strongly advise using Rootgrow when planting (as recommended in RHS planting guidelines).
